ESP’s core values are synonymous with many educational agencies and none so more than with the association for Physical Education. The testimony of this shared belief in the child-centred development of physical activity and movement is signified in ESP’s recent sponsorship of afPE’s annual national conference in Cheshire held between 2-4 July. The conference entitled ‘Hitting the target- Missing the Point’ was a resounding success and offered excellent opportunities for networking and absorbing the latest initiatives and innovations in PE and school sport.

ESP’s Head of Education David Morley presented a stimulating, thought-provoking and well-received workshop that explored the relationship between physical literacy, multi-skills and play.
