National Accounts Manager

 

Purpose of the role:

An exciting opportunity has become available to join ESP Ltd.  ESP Ltd provides a one-stop shop solution to the design, installation and support for the outdoor spaces within Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Special Needs schools throughout the UK. 

ESP Ltd is an exciting and rapidly growing business that has a fantastic reputation for delivering a range of sustainable improvements in schools. ESP work in partnership with a range of National Governing bodies for Sport including the Football Association, Cricket Foundation, Rugby Football League as well as a host of Premier League football clubs in promoting high quality physical activity opportunities through schools and the community for children aged 3 to 16.

Due to ongoing commitment to existing accounts we are currently seeking a National Account Manager to handle in excess of £5 million worth of existing business annually.

As a National Account Manager you will manage a group of 5 major accounts worth in excess of £5 million annually and a group of key accounts worth a similar value. Working as part of a small team you will seek to grow revenue through seeking opportunities of increased investment. This will be achieved through demonstrating added value and through the cross-sell and up-sell of a full portfolio of products and services.

The role will be supported with a full modular training programme, which provides global commercial development and a full understanding and appreciation of how all departments operate within the business.  The training programme provides a structured pathway for career progression to senior management level.

  • Customer Service Score
  • Agreed level of progression on ESP Modular Training Programme

You will be confident, driven, proactive and committed to joining a professional organisation. You will also have excellent/first class communication and presentation skills, a broad business understanding, high levels of self motivation and the ability to captivate and install confidence at every level.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and posses a minimum of 2-3 years previous national sales experience from within the B2B arena.

Person Specification:

  • Well-developed leadership skills, good IT and presentation skills
  • Excellent personal presence
  • Must have excellent self management skills as your time will be divided between numerous accounts
  • The ambition and drive to ensure the successful implementation of the Company’s strategic plans
  • You will be highly motivated and a self starter
  • Good working knowledge of MS Outlook, ACT, Excel and Word

Marketing Manager

Purpose of the role:

The Marketing Manager is an extremely important role taking full responsibility across all areas of marketing both internally and externally. The role requires close and consistent liaison with all heads of departments and their staff. 

Your focus will be to develop a UK and European Marketing plan with a clear vision; strategy and execution plan for the increasing the ESP market share.  Furthermore, you will work as part of and play a leading role in a brand management team to manage and police

how it is used and presented.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for looking at market opportunities by analysing, identifying and providing insights to support strategic business plans.

This is a great role with huge scope for the future in a market place currently worth over £100 million in England alone.

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will be motivational, a strong team player and good communicator with plenty of commercial acumen and a “can do” attitude. Previous experience in sales and marketing is vital.

  • Requirement of a broad knowledge of the ESP market place, together with the ability to communicate the benefits of ESP to potential consumers
  • Experience in the market place is an advantage but not essential
  • A significant track record of success within a commercial business environment

Trainee Playground Designer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Playground Designer within a busy design department. Candidates must have a basic working knowledge of the following graphic design software packages:

  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Indesign
  • Microsoft Office

The position will involve all aspects of designing / planning playgrounds for children of various ages. In addition to the ability to work well as part of a team, good communication and mathematical skills are required.

Full training will be given to all sucessful applicants.

Construction Operative

Hours - 45 PER WEEK, MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8AM-5.30PM, PERMANENT

Wage - £5.05-£8.00 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

We are looking for keen, positive people, willing to learn new skills who may have experience of the following: ground-worker, team leader, labourer, joiner, builder.

Based in Burnley, you will be working with a team of professionals, travelling the UK installing playground markings, wooden furniture, safety surfacing and equipment.

A current driving licence is essential and further benefits/opportunities include promotion to Team Leader, company vehicle, pension scheme and bonus incentives. Successful candidates can look forward to job satisfaction, security and progression into senior positions. All successful candidates will have to undergo Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check.

Area Development Manager

Hours - MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8.30AM-5.00PM + OCCASIONAL CONFERENCES (PERMANENT)

Due to continued company growth we are looking to add another member to our Sales department. If you have a proven track record in Sales and a keen interest in education, sport and health promotion you may be suitable for this role. As a result of re-organisation, the successful candidate will be taking on a substantial active quote ledger and will coordinate new business generation alongside all current activities in their territory including the Building Schools for the Future and CPD programmes.

The role will be supported with a full modular training programme that covers compete sales training, graphic design, manufacturing and finance. On completion of the training programme ESP can provide a wide range of opportunities for career progression and have a policy to recruit from inside the organisation.

The successful candidate will have a natural affinity for rapport building at all levels and be able to generate new business and grow ESP’s presence with national sporting and education organisations. They will have responsibility for creating and executing ESP’s regional marketing strategy and will feedback directly to the Marketing Manager’s global campaign.
